Please help me celebrate the life of my precious Marley who gained his angel wings yesterday afternoon. Because of you Lisa and your love of senior Goldies, I took Marley on at the grand old age of 12 1/2. Words cannot describe how much I loved him and how I wish he could have stayed forever. He was perfection on wonky legs with a soft and loving nature. I am shattered that he had to go but I’m so very, very blessed to have had him in my life, even though it wasn’t for long enough. Rest easy my beautiful boy and know that your Mumma loves you to the moon and back 💔😘 6.10.03 - 19.01.18 💙

Hi friends, Sam here.
Ok I have a confession to make. Well it's more like an addiction. You see I NEEEEEEEEEEED to take my stuffies outside. It is like it's a matter of life an death. It imperative that they come outside with me. I seriously can't stress it enough how vital it is for them to join me in the great outdoors. However the same need to bring them back inside is not so life threatening, not so vital.
This is the collection of stuffies that were recently found outside braving the cold, the wet. Alone and abandoned. Judging by the look on my face though, it appears that this leaving stuffies outside addiction is not going anywhere soon.
I have decided to start a support group for other addicts just like me. If your dog likes to leave their beloved stuffies outside perhaps they would like to become members of my little group..SALSA (Save All Lost Stuffies Anonymous)

Hi friends, Nev here
Hi friends, with extreme weather conditions affecting many states in Australia we ask you to PLEASE take care of your pets and yourselves today.
-Never leave your pets in a parked car
-Limit exercise on hot days
-Provide ample shade and water
-Watch for signs of heatstroke
Some signs of heatstroke are heavy panting, glazed eyes, a rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, excessive thirst, lethargy, fever, dizziness, lack of coordination, profuse salivation, vomiting, a deep red or purple tongue, seizure, and unconsciousness.

Animals are at particular risk for heat stroke if they are very old, very young, overweight, not conditioned to prolonged exercise, or have heart or respiratory disease. Some breeds of dogs—like boxers, pugs, shih tzus, and other dogs and cats with short muzzles—will have a much harder time breathing in extreme heat.

It is with great sadness that I have to report that Ben went to the Rainbow Bridge on Jan 15th between 5:30pm-6:30pm. After a long fight with liver failure it was determined that there was nothing more that could be done for him. We thank everyone for welcoming him to the team before he left us.
